A design update has been carried out on the CKS range, which will later be extended to the SP, SPX, and SPS ranges as well.

This redesign responds to the objective of standardising components and optimising manufacturing processes, while maintaining the performance, technical specifications, and reliability of the products at all times.

Below are the main improvements incorporated in each range:

CKS Range

• The quality of materials used in the hardened components has been unified, increasing the overall strength and durability of the product.
• The minimum capacity has been improved in drill chucks with a maximum capacity of 08 and 16 mm.
• Side holes have been incorporated to facilitate unlocking with a hook wrench in the event of chuck blockage, as well as to improve initial tightening in particularly demanding applications. The wrench can be supplied additionally upon request.
• All female taper adapters have been lengthened, and the short versions are no longer manufactured. This avoids possible adaptation conflicts with arbors from different manufacturers, allowing greater compatibility and product standardisation.

SP, SPX and SPS Ranges

• The minimum capacity has been improved in drill chucks with a maximum capacity of 16 mm.
• Side holes have been incorporated to facilitate unlocking with a hook wrench in the event of chuck blockage, as well as to improve initial tightening in the most demanding applications. The hook wrench can be supplied additionally upon request. In the SPX and SPS ranges, this wrench is already supplied as standard.
• This new execution also improves the balancing of the assembly compared to the previous SPX and SPS versions with wrench slots.

Taper Adaptations: SP and SPX

All female taper adapters have been lengthened, and the short versions have been discontinued. This improvement avoids possible incompatibilities with arbors from different manufacturers and allows greater product standardization.

SPS Range

The rear washer has been removed, resulting in a lighter assembly that remains fully operational and offers improved balancing.

Aesthetic Update

In the SP, SPX, and SPS ranges, the new straight knurling provides a more refined appearance, in line with the precision and quality philosophy of the range, while also reinforcing the traditional visual identity of the product.
